Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Engineer with experience in enterprise storage technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing automation frameworks, validating storage solutions, performing high-availability testing, and maintaining storage test environments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong Python programming skills, deep understanding of Linux systems, storage networking protocols, and experience working in product engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks using Pytest.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated test suites for enterprise storage products.
• Integrate automation with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform High Availability (HA), failover, and failback validation testing.
• Validate NFS, SMB/CIFS, replication, and storage networking functionalities.
• Monitor CPU, memory utilization, and overall system performance.
• Perform cluster upgrades, rehabilitation, and testbed maintenance.
• Analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams during code reviews and defect resolution.
• Maintain automation scripts and improve overall test coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Python Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems.
• Good understanding of Storage Architecture and enterprise storage solutions.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and JIRA.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
