Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong expertise in Django, SQL, and backend application development. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable web applications and RESTful APIs, preferably in the E-commerce/Retail domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
• Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Implement best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in Django framework.
• Good knowledge of Flask or FastAPI is an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MS SQL).
• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

Domain Experience (Preferred)

• Experience in E-commerce, Retail, Marketplace, or B2B/B2C Commerce platforms.
• Exposure to order management, product catalog, pricing, promotions, inventory, checkout, or payment integrations.
• Experience integrating with payment gateways, logistics, or third-party commerce services is a plus.
