Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, refactors, tests, and maintains applications, services, APIs, and frameworks.
• Participates in architecture, design, code, and solution reviews.
• Uses AI-assisted development practices to improve delivery speed, quality, testing, and documentation.
• Reviews code for quality, maintainability, performance, security, and alignment with standards.
• Builds and maintains tools, automation, and processes that support software delivery and release readiness.
• Mentors developers through guidance, documentation, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Improves coding standards, reusable patterns, team workflows, and engineering practices.
• Estimates work, identifies risks, and delivers high-quality work on schedule.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong software engineering background in Python
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Ability to use AI coding tools and coding agents effectively for development, review, testing, and team productivity.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, debugging, collaboration, and mentorship skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and business domains quickly with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of specialized experience in cloud technologies, modern application development, AI-assisted development, or related technical domains.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with software design, automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, secure coding, and Agile delivery.
• Solid understanding of application containerization technologies, including Docker
