Job Description

Location: Alexandria, Egypt

Department: Customer Service Engineering

Reports To: Customer Service Engineering Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor QA/QC plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures on site.
  • Ensure compliance of construction, finishing, and MEP works with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Check client modifications on site and ensure they match approved specifications (QS).
  • Conduct regular site inspections for architectural, structural, and MEP works.
  • Review material submittals and ensure approved materials are used.
  • Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and verify closure of NCRs and quality observations.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and Customer Service Engineering team on quality-related matters.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, checklists, and documentation.
  • Follow up on snag lists, defects, and customer service observations until proper closure.
  • Support project handover activities and ensure completion of all quality documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (preferred) or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC within construction or real estate projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection procedures, finishing works, MEP coordination, and handover requirements.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
