Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through thorough testing and validation processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform regression testing and validate fixes for reported issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality assurance best practices.
- Execute automated test scripts and maintain the automation framework.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
