QA Engineer

QA Engineer - Remote

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases;
• Develop and maintain test documentation (test plans, checklists, bug reports);
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke and UI testing;
• Ensure the quality of web and mobile applications;
• Collaborate with developers, designers and product managers during the entire development cycle;
• Identify, document and track bugs using issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira);
• Participate in sprint planning, feature grooming, and release activities;
• Contribute to test automation framework and CI/CD pipelines;
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, usability and security requirements;

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes;
• Experience in web and mobile application testing;
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium);
• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST/gRPC);
• Knowledge of JavaScript or Python for writing automated tests;
• Experience with bug tracking and test case management systems;
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and working with Git;
• Experience with performance and security testing would be a plus;
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to validate data on the backend;
• Familiarity with accessibility (a11y) and cross-browser compatibility checks;
• Bachelor or higher degree in IT or engineering;
• Work experience 2+ years;
• Experience in banking or fintech will be preferable;
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail;
• English Intermediate or higher;
