Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive QA/QC Electrical Engineer to join our team for large-scale energy projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil activates meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and control procedures to ensure all civil works meet project specifications, SEC standards, and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the QA/QC system for civil works in substation projects.
- Ensure compliance with SEC specifications, drawings, and standards.
- Review and verify materials, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Conduct inspections for excavation, foundations, concrete works, finishing, and other civil activities.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project management teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain proper documentation of QA/QC records, test reports, and approvals.
- Liaise with SEC representatives for inspections, approvals, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during construction activities.
- Participate in project handover, ensuring all civil works are defect-free and in accordance with SEC requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil works for power substations.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation.
- Experience with SEC specifications and quality standards for substations.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Valid Iqama - [KSA resident].
- Mandatory: SEC approval as Civil QA/QC Engineer.
