Job Summary
We are looking for a QA/QC Coating Inspector with minimum 4 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The candidate will be responsible for inspection and quality control of coating and painting activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of coating and painting activities as per project specifications
- Ensure surface preparation, coating application, and curing processes meet required standards
- Monitor and verify coating thickness, adhesion, and quality
- Conduct inspection using relevant tools and equipment
- Review and implement inspection test plans (ITPs) and procedures
- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Maintain inspection records and prepare quality reports
- Ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements
- Coordinate with project and site teams for quality assurance
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Certification in BGAS or NACE (NACE Level 1/2)
- Strong knowledge of coating and painting inspection standards
- Experience in surface preparation and coating applications
- Familiarity with inspection tools and testing methods
- Good communication and reporting skills
