JOB PURPOSE:
GCL is looking to hire a QA/QC Engineer who is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) across Civil, Architectural, and Structural works. This role ensures all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and international standards. The QA/QC Engineer supports continuous improvement by coordinating inspections, audits, and corrective actions with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and defect-free construction outcomes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and all associated procedures.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and material verifications to maintain quality across all site activities.
- Prepare and review Method Statements, ITPs, NCRs, and QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Supervise QA/QC Inspectors and ensure consistent implementation of procedures.
- Maintain accurate QA/QC records and support internal and external audits.
- Report quality performance, non-conformances, and corrective actions to management.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- Minimum Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or related discipline).
- Minimum Experience:Minimum 57 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer on civil, infrastructure, or multidisciplinary construction projects.
