Job Description
Responsible for ensuring all civil construction works comply with SEC standards, project specifications, and approved quality procedures.
1- Implement project Quality Plan and civil ITPs
2- Inspect installation of switchgear, transformers, cables, and auxiliaries
3- Coordinate inspections and testing with SEC
4- Review electrical method statements and submittals
5- Monitor testing and commissioning activities
6- Manage electrical NCRs and quality records
7- Participate in the clients inspection and acceptance
8- Check the quality inspection documents provided by clients or third parties are in line
with the quality standard and criteria
9- Maintain Electrical QA/QC records and dossiers
10- Identify, record, and follow up on NCRs and corrective actions
11- Participate in internal and external quality audits
Requirements
Educational degree:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Special training, technology use and language skills:
1- PMP Certificate
2- AUTOCAD
3- Primavera P6 / MS Project
4- ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
5- SEC civil standards and procedures
COMPETENCIES:
1 Strong understanding of QA/QC systems and ISO 9001 requirements.
2 Experience in HV substation civil and infrastructure works.
3 Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
4 Familiar with the power sector and having experience in substation is a preference.
5 Strong documentation and reporting skills.
6 Good teamwork sense and active in work.
7 High responsibility, sense, and professional attitude.
8 Excellent communication and coordination skills within the organization and with clients.
9 Experience with utility projects and international standards (ASTM, BS, IEC)
