Job Description
Looking for a qualified QA/QC Engineer to oversee valve inspection, hot tapping, leak sealing, and refurbishment activities while ensuring compliance with ASME, AWS, API, and related international standards. The role involves conducting in-service inspections, maintaining quality control, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring all activities meet safety and project requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in valve inspection.
- At least 2 years of experience in Hot Tapping and in-service operation inspection.
- Experience in Valve Refurbishment, Leak Sealing, and Hot Tapping Operations.
- Site experience is an added advantage.
- CSWIP 3.1 certification (CSWIP 3.2.2 preferred).
- NDE Level II certification.
- BGAS G2 Painting Certification (advantage).
- ISO and API certifications (advantage).
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, ASME Sec IX, API 1104, PCC-1, and PCC-2.
