QA/QC Engineers / QC Inspectors Civil, Mechanical & Electrical

About the Job

We are seeking experienced QA/QC Engineers and QC Inspectors – Civil, Mechanical & Electrical to ensure quality compliance across major construction and infrastructure projects in Dubai.

The role is suited to QA/QC professionals with 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction inspection, quality control, testing, documentation, and coordination with project and site teams.

Role Summary

The selected candidates will be responsible for inspecting construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications, coordinating inspections, identifying quality issues, and maintaining QA/QC documentation for their respective disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and quality standards.

* Conduct inspections and verify workmanship, materials, installations, and completed works as per project requirements.

* Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), checklists, inspection reports, and quality documentation.

* Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams for inspections and quality requirements.

* Review drawings, specifications, material approvals, and technical documents relevant to the discipline.

* Identify non-conformities, defects, and quality issues and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

* Monitor material deliveries and ensure materials comply with approved specifications and requirements.

* Coordinate with testing laboratories and relevant teams for required material and site testing.

* Maintain inspection records, test reports, NCR records, quality logs, and other QA/QC documentation.

* Follow up on NCR closure, corrective actions, and inspection approvals.

* Ensure construction activities comply with applicable project quality procedures and standards.

* Participate in quality meetings, site inspections, and coordination meetings with consultants and project stakeholders.

* Support preparation of as-built documentation, handover dossiers, and final quality records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

* Minimum 5+ years of relevant QA/QC or inspection experience in construction, contracting, engineering, or infrastructure projects.

* Strong hands-on experience in the respective Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical discipline.

* Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

* Experience in preparing IRs, inspection reports, checklists, NCRs, and quality records.

* Strong coordination skills with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and site teams.

* Good problem-solving, reporting, communication, and documentation skills.

* Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QA/QC documentation systems.

* UAE/GCC experience and experience with major construction or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
