Job Description

The QA/QC Inspector supports the implementation of Quality Control procedures across all site activities. The role focuses on inspecting materials, processes, and workmanship to ensure they meet the required standards, specifications, and compliance requirements. The Inspector documents inspection results, reports any non-conformities, and coordinates with supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, standards, and project specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection records, including test results, checklists, reports, and observations.
  • Raise and follow up on NCRs and site observations, coordinating with site teams to close corrective actions promptly.
  • Ensure that all activities follow project quality procedures, method statements, and inspection & test plans (ITPs).
  • Assist in verifying incoming materials to ensure they match approved material submittals and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and site supervisors regarding inspection readiness and compliance.
  • Support daily quality assurance processes, including monitoring work sequences and reporting deviations.
  • participate in supplier / vendor inspections when required and report findings clearly.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC Engineers when performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required, ensuring documentation is up to date and accurate.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelor's degree
  • 56 years of experience specifically as a QA/QC Inspector, preferably in building construction, hotels, and high-rise projects within GCC.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes, inspection techniques, and construction industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, method statements, and ITPs.
  • Strong attention to detail to accurately identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
  • Good communication skills for reporting inspections and coordinating with site teams.
  • Ability to identify issues on-site and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • ERP/SAP experience is an added advantage.
