Industry Domain Knowledge

§ Experience in ERP Oracle EBS HR domain

covering Core HR, Payroll, OTL, LMS

Test Plan & Design

§ Ability to convert functional

requirements/Acceptance Criteria into risk-based

test plans.

§ Ability to use Qmetry for manual test repository.

Test Data

§ Familiarity with microservice architecture.

§ Experience conducting QE activities on

containerised architecture.

§ Ability to create test data in an efficient manner

considering data anonymisation, randomness,

coverage and re-usability, integrity and data

formats.

Functional Test Execution (Manual + Automation)

§ Ability to use Qmetry for functional manual test

execution.

§ Ability to create automation tests in Playwright,

JavaScript, TypeScript / UFT

§ Ability to build automation tests and following

principles such as:

o Test parallelisation

o Scenario contexts

o Independent test data management.

§ Ability to build the following components in

automation frameworks:

o Gherkin Feature Scenario files.

o Step definition classes.

o Page Class objects

o Utility classes for Test Data

management

o Assertion Classes

§ Ability to conduct system integration testing for

cross product integrations by understanding

Interface Change Document (ICD) and other

technical and architectural documents.

§ Ability to build API automation tests using

Playwright with Type script or Javascript to

validate services and ICD contracts.

§ Ability to build and architect automation tests for

ERP HR space (Oracle EBS).

§ Ability to build automation tests and follow the

GIT branching strategy set for the project.

§ Ability to maintain an automation framework

overtime including refactoring, code tidiness,

comments, re-usability.

Database

§ Ability to use SQL query language for test

purposes including creating test data, procuring

and identifying suitable test data, creating

assertions for test validations.

§ JDBC validation utility for automation tests.

Test Reporting

§ Ability to produce clear test reports during

phases for both manual executions, automation

executions and defects.

Defect Management

§ Ability to log defects with accurate contents

(summary, impact, steps to reproduce evidence)

§ Active ownership during retesting,

impact/risk/RCA investigations.

CI/CD Quality Gates

§ Ability to set requirements for quality gates in

CI/CD pipelines and framework implementation.

§ Ability to set quality gates in CI/CD for early

defect detection.

Team Engagement

§ Ability to effectively participate and contribute to

daily standups, bug triages, refinements, sprint

retros, PI planning, sprint planning etc.

§ Ability to raise risks and dependencies at early

stage.
