To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for new QA Test Lead (POS)

Job purpose:

Establishing framework and guidelines for testing products before they are published in Geidea Egypt to ensure delivery of end productsproject is of quality and in alignment with customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing POS apps for Egypt certification, international scheme certification and Managing application internal and external stakeholder enhancement testing.
  • Responsible for creating test plan and strategy also Reviews and re-evaluates the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules
  • Oversees testing of software features, quality review of various applications, projects to make sure work is scheduled based on priorities, risks and team strengths and assignment of resources across projects and implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance tests
  • Assists in test environment setup/teardown, unit testing and exploratory testing and Oversees the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation
  • Provides suitable solutions for issues/errors based on the understanding of the system and client business processes
  • Leads/mentors Test Engineers and shares knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions also Assists in coaching junior staff, by helping them to make decisions, solve problems, manage meetings and set goals, provides feedback on testing-related tasks, delegates and assigns testing responsibilities
  • Works with clients in evaluating and implementing new technologies and offer strategies for new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience including 3+ in the Fintech industry
  • Strong Knowledge in manual testing and test methodologies.
  • Ability to analyse complex business requirements to produce test requirements.
  • Good understanding on Payment domain. Protocol.
  • Experience in managing test environments and managing test data.
  • Visa and Mastercard Certification process is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • Certification:
  • ISTQB-FL certificate is mandatory
  • Fintech or payment background is a must
  • Business experience, understanding production scenarios, customer needs, etc...
