Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Electric Utility industry (Substations, Power Distribution, Control Centers, Automation, Telecom, etc.).
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance & Quality Control.
- Mandatory OHTL project experience.
- Professional Certification required (SCE Certified and client approval as QA/QC Electrical Engineer).
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure electrical activities comply with approved designs, technical specifications, client standards, and method statements.
- Implement Project Quality Plan, QMS (ISO 9001:2015), ITPs, and QC procedures at assigned projects.
- Review material submittals, inspect incoming materials, and verify proper storage per MSDS and MIRN procedures.
- Conduct internal inspections and monitor subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with QMS requirements.
- Raise and coordinate RFIs/RMIs with clients and consultants for inspection approvals.
- Prepare and submit inspection look-ahead schedules, weekly reports, and quality documentation through QMTS/automation tools.
- Address NCRs, observations, site instructions, and audit findings; ensure timely corrective action and closure.
- Coordinate with internal departments, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Conduct Quality Toolbox Talks (QTBT), issue quality alerts, and maintain proper archiving of all quality records in ECM.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal English).
- Proficient in MS Office and quality management systems/tools (e.g., Unifier, Oracle).
- Strong analytical, documentation, archiving, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and compliance-oriented mindset.
