QC Assistant Engineer, Medium Voltage | alfanar Electric

Job description:

Job Purpose

Responsible for supporting quality control activities to ensure materials, processes, and finished products comply with approved standards, specifications, and quality requirements through inspections, testing, documentation, and coordination with relevant teams.

 

Key Accountability Areas

Quality Control & Inspection

• Perform routine inspections and checks on materials, components, and finished products in accordance with approved quality plans
• Support in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards
• Identify, record, and report non-conformities and deviations to the QC Engineer or Supervisor

Testing & Documentation

• Assist in conducting required tests and measurements using approved tools and equipment
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation
• Ensure proper filing and traceability of quality records in line with quality procedures

Process & Compliance Support

• Support implementation of quality procedures, work instructions, and control plans
• Assist in monitoring adherence to quality standards during production and operational activities
• Participate in internal audits, inspections, and quality reviews as required

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to address quality issues
• Support corrective and preventive action follow-up under supervision
• Escalate quality concerns promptly to minimize operational impact

Continuous Improvement

• Support quality improvement initiatives and defect reduction activities
• Assist in analyzing quality issues and contributing to root cause investigations
• Promote quality awareness and compliance on the shop floor

HR Proficiency:

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
