We are seeking a QC Inspector specialized in Coating and Painting to join our team in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in quality control within the coating industry, particularly with Aramco specifications. The QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all coating and painting processes meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of coating and painting processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Evaluate and document the quality of surface preparation, application, and curing of coatings and paints.
- Identify defects or non-conformities in coating applications and report findings to the project manager.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment used in the coating process are compliant with Aramco standards.
- Perform regular audits and assessments of coating and painting operations to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement quality control plans for coating and painting activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in quality control inspection, specifically in coating and painting processes.
- Thorough understanding of coating materials, application techniques, and inspection methods.
- Knowledge of Aramco standards and specifications related to coating and painting.
- Certification in NACE, SSPC, or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as dry film thickness gauges and adhesion testers.
