Job Description:
- Conduct inspection of insulation and fireproofing materials to ensure installation complies with project specifications, approved method statements, and industry standards.
- Verify the quality, thickness, density, and application of insulation and fireproofing systems.
- Ensure proper surface preparation prior to application of fireproofing materials.
- Monitor installation activities to confirm adherence to safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
- Witness and/or conduct required tests to ensure compliance with thermal, acoustic, and fire protection performance criteria.
- Review and verify material approvals, test certificates, and inspection test plans (ITP).
- Maintain accurate inspection reports, NCRs, and quality documentation in line with project QA/QC procedures.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable international codes, project specifications, and ADNOC standards (if applicable).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience as an Insulation & Fireproofing QC Inspector in oil & gas construction projects.
- Experience in EPC projects within the UAE or GCC preferred.
- Certification: BGAS or NACE Level II and ICorr certification (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of international standards related to insulation and fireproofing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
