Job Summary
The Inspector – QC Welding is responsible for ensuring that all welding activities comply with approved welding procedures, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards within oil & gas projects. The role ensures quality compliance, inspection integrity, and client satisfaction, particularly for Saudi Aramco–approved projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Inspect welding activities to ensure compliance with approved WPS, ITPs, project specifications, and applicable codes/standards
- Monitor fit-up, welding, and post-weld activities to ensure quality requirements are met
- Verify welder qualifications, welding consumables, and equipment prior to welding activities
- Review and maintain welding inspection records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with construction, QC, and client representatives to resolve welding-related issues
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and Saudi Aramco requirements
- Support audits, inspections, and quality control reviews related to welding activities
Mandatory Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry
- Proven experience as QC Welding Inspector
- CSWIP Welding Inspector certification (issued in 2022 or earlier) – Mandatory
- Saudi Aramco approval – Mandatory
