Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Events QHSE Manager to oversee and elevate our Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management systems. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards, as well as all applicable UAE and GCC regulatory requirements. You will be based at our offices in Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive risk assessments, internal audits, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement across our operations, projects, and worker accommodation. You will develop and implement robust policies, procedures, and training programs to instill a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with UAE/GCC HSE regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections; implement corrective actions.
  • Lead HSE training programs and maintain reporting systems.
  • Develop and maintain policies/procedures for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications.
  • Ensure that the management system documentation is controlled in line with procedures.
  • Able to identify and analyse risks directly associated with their job role / function. This includes internal, external, client and supplier-related risks.

  • Ensure that all accidents, incidents and near-misses (in the office, warehouse and on-site) are reported via our internal app, investigated and recommended mitigation policies are developed and implemented in coordination with internal departments and third-party suppliers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external audits and certifications.
  • Oversee worker accommodation standards, budgets, and facility management.
  • Mentor teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to company processes, document controls, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor industry trends and implement the best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years in QHSE management, preferably in UAE/GCC. Events Industry Experience is preferred.
  • NEBOSH IDip/Level 6 Qualification, ISO Lead Auditor (9001/14001/45001).
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessments, and legal compliance.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with good data analysis and presentation skills.
  • Leadership, conflict resolution, and excellent English communication (written/verbal).
  • Able to drive in the UAE and have a car.
  • Arabic speaker an advantage
