Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cost aspects for tenders evaluation for direct awarding and tender returns for selective tenders, and as well as negotiated tenders, leading teams for the pre-contract stage including but not limited to reviewing, assessment and issuing evaluations for different tendering phases.
  • Manage and guide the team to achieve all commercial tasks in the Project, concerning quantity review, re-measurement for the executed works, preparing the needed quantities, estimation, and valuation of the proposed VEs, or potential VOs, valuation for the Contractor's Payment Certificates for post contract stage.
  • Chairing commercial meetings and workshops for pre and post contract commercial issues.
  • Checking the payments submitted by the Contractors and issuing Payment Certificates after valuation
  • Valuation of cost proposals for variation orders, negotiating with the Contract to agree for any prices not included in the contract managed.
  • Valuation and determinations for any submitted cost claims and issuing cost determination for these claims, to the Employer.
  • Valuation and assessment of potential variations, giving rough estimates to the Employer, before issuing variation instructions.
  • Reviewing progress percentages submitted for the certification for items in the Payments.
  • Reviewing cost loaded, cash flows submitted by the Contractor and initiating cash flows for the future and expected work packages to be awarded.
  • Complete financial reporting for the projects, including projects estimates for current and expected future packages, variations status reporting for the expected, submitted, evaluated, and certified variations through Interim Payments, projects cash flows, participating in the overall monthly report, stating each project status.
  • Reviewing progress percentages submitted for the certification for items in the Payments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree of Civil Engineering
  • Strong leadership skills
  • 15 : 20 years experience
