Functional Authority for Quality and Reliability Program Management & Technical Assurance
Reliability
- Establish and execute the overarching Reliability Strategy for all APS (Asset Performance Solutions Business unit) projects, ensuring alignment with corporate business objectives and client contractual requirements.
- Develop and monitor Reliability KPIs, defect density metrics, equipment performance indices, and failure mode controls.
- Implement industry leading reliability practices into project execution and develop Reliability matrices for continuous monitoring of Project Health.
- Lead internal/external audits, quality walks, RCA workshops, and quality performance reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement programs focusing on reducing rework, minimizing waste, and improving firsttimeright execution.
- Work closely with Operations, HSE, Engineering, and PMT teams to ensure quality is embedded during planning, execution, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Ensure project personnel are trained and competent on all quality and reliability requirements.
Quality
- Establish and execute the overarching Quality for all APS (Asset Performance Solutions) projects, ensuring alignment with corporate business objectives and client contractual requirements.
- Own and continuously enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead quality governance aligned with ISO 9001 and project specific Quality policy requirements.
- Act as the focal point for client quality teams and certification bodies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive a culture of quality, technical integrity, and reliability excellence across all operational sites.
Business Development
- Support Sales with the strategic planning and execution of business development initiatives in MENA, focusing on generating new revenue streams and expanding market share within the region.
- Drive the development and implementation of tailored sales strategies to effectively position long term and digitally enabled solutions like long term maintenance programs, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, turnaround programs, master data management, reliability centered maintenance, Spares optimization etc.
- Tech Savvy and experience in implementation of digital asset management solutions in energy industry like APM, remote performance monitoring, real time optimization, AI process analytics, AI predictive maintenance etc. is preferable.
- Act as a subject matter expert in the field of O&M, leveraging a deep understanding of industry best practices and competitive intelligence to provide insights and guidance to the executive team.
- Closely work and mentor a high-performing team of Maintenance and Reliability professionals fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
- Drive implementation of alliances/JVs/ with potential partners for APS business
- Achieve and exceed revenue/Job Income targets and KPIs, demonstrating a track record of success in driving business growth and profitability in the MENA market.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering required.
- Fifteen (15) + years of experience that include ten (10) + years of energy industry O&M experience and five (5) + years of experience in with experience in O&M solutions with digital accelerators where applicable.
- Requires knowledge of the Upstream- onshore/offshore, Refining, Petrochemical/Chemical, Energy Transition, and Process services industry and customer base in Middle East and Africa.
- 30% of travel is required to meet regularly with customers.
