Job Description

Quality & Standardization Officer

The Quality & Standardization Officer ensures that organizational processes, products, and services comply with established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality management, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and promoting a culture of quality and consistency across the organization.

Reason for hire:

  • There is a need for an increasing focus on the Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards of our supply chain, due to increasing pressure from MENA and local regulations. A risk of non compliance can lead to penalties or forced measures.
  • Arla KSA has Safety as a priority for 2026, which justifies hiring a dedicated resource.
  • A dedicated role ensures proactive monitoring, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Standardization will reduce defects and an improved resource utilization
  • This position will build a strong foundation for certifications and global standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Quality / SOP management
  • Education: bachelors degree in quality management, industrial engineering, business administration, or related field
  • Skills: Problem solving, process mapping and documentation tools, communication and training abilities, quality assurance or compliance

Key Responsibilities

Standard Operating Procedures

  • Create and maintain standardized processes, templates, and documentation across the logistics domain, through clear mapping and monitoring of standard operating procedures.
  • Periodically assess the execution and adherence of processes to all previously created SOP's, and driving a culture of accountability and responsibility to all supply chain employees.
  • Facilitate training sessions to promote adherence to standards.
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Quality Management

  • Assist in developing the function of Quality Management in Arla KSA's Supply Chain
  • Adopt, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures that are commonly used within Arla across all depots in KSA.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Arla standards, and coordinate the local implementation of improvement initiatives in close collaboration with logistics team leaders.
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality checks, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.
  • Monitor compliance with ISO, regulatory, and company-specific standards.
