Quality Assurance & Sourcing Specialist – Fresh Produce
About the Role
Agrow, a fresh produce export company based in Cairo, is looking for a Quality Assurance & Sourcing Specialist to own the product journey from farm to container, end to end.
This is not a desk-based QA role. You will be out in the field identifying and vetting farms, negotiating and closing sourcing deals, and following the product through processing, packing, and export — making sure quality is built in and protected at every step.
What You'll Do
- Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with farms and growers to source high-quality fresh produce
- Negotiate pricing and terms, and close sourcing agreements
- Coordinate the movement of product from farm to processing/packing facility
- Oversee washing, sorting, grading, and packing operations to ensure consistent quality standards
- Supervise loading and container preparation to meet export specifications
- Monitor cold chain integrity throughout — ensuring proper refrigeration, handling, and storage from farm to shipment
- Conduct quality inspections at each stage (farm, facility, pre-shipment) and reject or flag non-conforming product
- Maintain documentation and traceability records in line with export and certification requirements (e.g. GLOBALG.A.P.)
- Troubleshoot quality or handling issues in real time and take corrective action before they reach the buyer
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in fresh produce, agriculture, export operations, or food quality assurance
- Strong understanding of post-harvest handling, cold chain requirements, and produce quality standards
- Comfortable negotiating with farmers and suppliers directly
- Willingness to travel regularly to farms and processing facilities
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to make quick decisions on the ground
- Familiarity with export quality certifications (GLOBALG.A.P., GRASP, or similar) is a plus
- Fluent in Arabic; working proficiency in English preferred

عن الفرصة:
تبحث شركتنا عن أخصائي توريد وضمان جودة يتولى المسؤولية الكاملة عن سلسلة التوريد من المزرعة وحتى الحاوية الجاهزة للتصدير، تحديد المصادر والتفاوض مع المزارعين، ومتابعة عمليات الفرز والتعبئة، والحفاظ على سلامة سلسلة التبريد، وضمان مطابقة كل شحنة لمعايير التصدير قبل مغادرتها.
هذا دور ميداني بالكامل، يتطلب شخصًا قادرًا على اتخاذ قرارات سريعة وحاسمة في الموقع، لا مجرد المتابعة من المكتب.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تحديد وتقييم وبناء علاقات مع المزارع والمُزارعين لتأمين مصادر توريد عالية الجودة
- التفاوض على الأسعار وشروط التعاقد، وإتمام اتفاقيات التوريد
- تنسيق حركة نقل المحصول من المزرعة إلى منشأة التصنيع/التعبئة
- الإشراف على عمليات الغسيل والفرز والتدريج والتعبئة لضمان اتساق معايير الجودة
- الإشراف على عمليات التحميل وتجهيز الحاويات وفقًا لمواصفات التصدير
- متابعة سلامة سلسلة التبريد بشكل مستمر — التأكد من التبريد والمناولة والتخزين السليم من المزرعة وحتى الشحن
- إجراء فحوصات الجودة في كل مرحلة (المزرعة، المنشأة، ما قبل الشحن)، ورفض أو الإبلاغ عن أي منتج غير مطابق
- الحفاظ على مستندات التوثيق وسجلات التتبع بما يتوافق مع متطلبات التصدير والشهادات المعتمدة (مثل GLOBALG.A.P.)
- معالجة مشكلات الجودة أو المناولة فور حدوثها واتخاذ الإجراء التصحيحي قبل وصول الشحنة للعميل
المؤهلات والخبرات المطلوبة
- خبرة 3-5 سنوات أو أكثر في مجال الفاكهة والخضروات الطازجة، الزراعة، عمليات التصدير، أو ضمان جودة الأغذية
- فهم قوي لعمليات ما بعد الحصاد، ومتطلبات سلسلة التبريد، ومعايير جودة المحاصيل
- القدرة على التفاوض المباشر مع المزارعين والموردين
- الاستعداد للتنقل بشكل منتظم إلى المزارع ومنشآت التصنيع
- دقة عالية في التفاصيل، وحضور ميداني فعّال، والقدرة على اتخاذ قرارات سريعة في الموقع
- الإلمام بشهادات جودة التصدير (GLOBALG.A.P.، GRASP، أو ما يعادلها) ميزة إضافية
- إجادة اللغة العربية بطلاقة؛ يُفضّل إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية
