Job Description:

About the Role: We are looking for a QA Engineer who can own the end-to-end testing process for banking applications across mobile and service layers, from test planning and manual execution through automation development.

Responsibilities

Test Analysis& Manual QA

1. Analyze business requirements and clarify acceptance criteria
2. Prepare test plans, test strategies, and detailed test cases
3. Execute functional, regression, smoke, and UAT test cycles
4. Log defects in Jira,prioritize them, andmanage the defect lifecycle through to closure
5. Maintain traceable test cases in a test management tool (Zephyr Scale.) and report execution results
6. Run tests across multiple devices and OS versions on real-device platforms on cloud device farms.
7. Participate actively in the Agile process (refinement, planning, retrospectives) and work closely with the development team

Test Automation

1. Develop and maintain API automation suites.
2. Build service tests with Postman/Newman and migrate collections into the automation framework
3. Develop Android/iOS mobile automation scenarios using Appium.
4. Integrate regression and smoke suitesinto the CI/CD pipeline

Requirements

1. Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing

execution management

1. Hands-on experience with Jira for defect and task tracking
2. Experience with test management tools (Zephyr Scale,Xray, TestRail, etc.)
3. Experience executing tests on BrowserStack or similar device farm platforms
4. Experience building automation frameworks in Java
5. Hands-on API automation experience
6. Working knowledge of Postman for service testing and collection management
7. Proven Appium mobileautomation background.
8. TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git
9. Solid understanding of REST/JSON, HTTP, and token-based authentication
10. Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
11. Basic SQL for data validation
12. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
13. Good written and spoken English

Nice to Have

1. Banking/fintech domain experience
2. Framework design using Page Object Model, BDD (Cucumber), or similar approaches
3. Awareness of performance testing(JMeter/Gatling) or security testing
4. ISTQB Foundation / Advancedcertification
