We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at the head office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating quality management system policies, reviewing project quality plans, and monitoring compliance with established quality procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update quality management system (QMS) policies, procedures, and templates.
- Review and approve quality plans for projects (QMP / PQP) before issuance.
- Monitor project compliance with approved quality procedures.
- Develop key performance indicators for quality (KPIs) and analyze results.
- Manage non-conformance records (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Participate in management reviews and report on quality regularly.
- Provide technical support to quality engineers on projects.
- Review and approve inspection and testing forms (Checklists / ITPs).
- Analyze the root causes of recurring quality issues in projects and propose solutions.
- Coordinate with departments (projects, contracts – procurement) regarding quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Architectural).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance in contracting companies.
- Experience in implementing quality systems at the head office and project sites.
Skills and Competencies:
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
- Proficient in report preparation and analysis.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and document management systems.
Preferred Certifications:
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- CQE / QMS Certification
