Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and integrity of all technology solutions within the organization. This role bridges the gap between development and delivery by implementing rigorous testing standards and enforcing best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem-solver dedicated to continuous process improvement and high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Auditing & Testing: Conduct comprehensive audits, testing, and quality assurance activities for all technology solutions and internal processes to ensure they meet established requirements.
- Standards Enforcement: Implement and enforce industry best practices to maintain high-quality and performance standards across all technology projects.
- Test Development: Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically aimed at identifying software defects, bugs, and functional inconsistencies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure that quality benchmarks are integrated throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Reporting & Documentation: Document and report on all testing outcomes, project performance metrics, and defect logs to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Process Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the overall quality, reliability, and efficiency of the technology department.
Qualifications and Skills
- Professional Experience: Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or similar technical role within the technology sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of QA methodologies, modern testing tools, and standardized QA processes.
- Testing Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in performing both automated and manual testing.
