Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented candidate to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test cases, identifying and documenting bugs, and ensuring that our software applications meet the highest quality standards before deployment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality software products. We are especially interested in motivated professionals with 02 years of hands-on experience, eager to grow and make an impact early in their careers. The successful candidate must have a solid grasp of QA concepts and principles, showcasing both foundational knowledge and a commitment to continuous learning in the quality assurance field.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Planning and Execution

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on product requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure functionality, performance, and user experience meet defined quality standards.
  • Continuously update and refine test cases to reflect evolving product features and system changes.
  • Perform a wide range of testing activities including Regression, API, Acceptance, Exploratory, and Smoke Testing to validate software stability and readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and Tech Support teams to align on testing priorities, effort estimation, and release timelines.

2. Defect Management & Reporting

  • Identify, log, and track defects using standardized bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Github), ensuring proper documentation and follow-up until resolution.
  • Maintain clear, organized, and up-to-date QA documentation, including test cases, execution results, defect logs, and release validation reports.
  • Prepare concise QA summaries and reports highlighting test coverage, key findings, and quality metrics for stakeholder review.
  • Contribute to the team's knowledge base by documenting recurring issues, solutions, and best practices to streamline future testing efforts.

3. Product Knowledge & User Perspective

  • Develop a strong understanding of the product being testedincluding its features, target audience, and business objectivesto ensure testing aligns with real-world use cases.
  • Approach testing from an end-user perspective, validating that workflows, usability, and performance deliver the expected value to customers.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to provide QA insights that enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect life cycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with QA and bug-tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, and Zephyr.
  • Proficient in API testing using Postman or Swagger, including validation of response codes, payloads, and authentication.
  • Experience testing across Android/iOS devices, browsers, and OS versions and familiarity with tools like BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab, or Xcode simulators
  • Basic familiarity with Apple and Google app store release guidelines and proactive management of tasks for regression cycles and weekly releases
  • Familiarity with tools like Sentry for analyzing crash reports and supporting root cause investigation of customer issues.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for database verification and data integrity checks.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress for basic automated testing.
  • Exposure to CI/CD environments such as Jenkins for build validation and regression automation.
