Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the quality assurance and quality control functions across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will manage the development and implementation of quality systems, oversee inspections and testing, ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with project requirements and international standards.
  • Lead and supervise QA/QC teams, ensuring consistent application of quality procedures across all project sites.
  • Establish project-specific quality plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspection strategies.
  • Oversee material inspections, testing activities, and verification of workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), root-cause analyses, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and closure processes.
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Review and approve quality documentation including material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and test reports.
  • Conduct internal audits, site quality audits, and ensure projects adhere to ISO standards and client requirements.
  • Prepare quality performance reports and highlight areas needing improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement programs to enhance overall project quality and reduce rework.
  • Ensure all QA/QC staff receive proper training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Support project handover by ensuring complete and accurate documentation (as-built, O&M manuals, test certificates, etc.).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in QA/QC roles within construction, infrastructure, or landscape projects, including managerial experience.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards, quality systems, inspection methodologies, and testing procedures.
  • Proven background in leading QA/QC teams on medium to large-scale projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Certifications related to QA/QC or ISO implementation are an advantage.
