Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the Quality Management System is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Managing and overseeing the project quality to ensure proper compliances to codes, standards, regulations, contracts and QMS specifications.
  • To prepare the project QAP and control the amendments and revisions.
  • To prepare the Master Document List pertaining to the Quality documents.
  • Preparation of Project specific Method statements, ICL's and FQP and coordinating with client for the approval before commencing the activity.
  • Perform internal Audits (Inter department) to identify and assess the effectiveness of QMS.
  • Verify and ensure the project quality requirements are properly communicated to vendors and contractors through audits assessments, training, and inspections.
  • Attend all Kick -off meetings with the contractors before commencing a job to communicate and assess the skills of the contractors in terms of the Quality discipline.
  • Following an effective Inspection Procedure with the client and to ensure that the approved FQP is being followed to generate proper documents which helps for milestone payments and smooth handing overs.
  • Reviewing the contractor quality personal qualifications and assessing the skill for the job. Monitoring the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports (FON) and leading the construction team to close out the NCs with proper justification and analysis.
  • Co-ordinating all quality correspondence with the client representatives through proper communication matrix.
  • Leading the Process of Workmen Assessment and First off which significantly reduces the client complaints or FON's.
  • Attending weekly Quality meeting with Client and presenting the weekly progress in the Quality discipline to the Management.
  • Punchlist Preparation and Closure inspections with client.
  • Drawing review before release to the client to ensure all the design standards are as per codes, standards, good practices, and signed contract.
  • Assessing and training sub ordinates in various subjects relating to documentations, Root cause analysis, improvements etc.
  • Supply material Inward inspections along with the client including ensuring proper storage.
  • Sub-contractor invoice certifications regarding the completeness of Quality fulfillments

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (full‑time).
  • More than 14 years of total experience, including a minimum of 5 years in Solar projects and Quality functions.
  • Must have worked on at least one GW‑scale Solar Project in the capacity of Manager or above.
  • Tech‑savvy, with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
  • A quality‑focused engineer with solid understanding of project management and people management.
  • Skilled in analysis, troubleshooting, and multitasking, with the ability to identify and resolve issues at early stages to prevent time and cost overruns.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
