Job Description

About the Role:

The QC Manager owns quality across all brands — writing the standards and manuals, carrying out inspections directly when needed as well as governing the third-party partner (QIMA), and driving corrective action — so product ships right, first time.

Key Responsibilities

Standards & Manuals:

  • Write and maintain QC manuals, AQL standards, inspection checklists and product-specific quality protocols across all brands.
  • Define measurement, workmanship, fit and packaging standards with Production and suppliers.
  • Train and align vendors to SportLux quality requirements.

Inspection — In-house and Third-Party:

  • Carry out inline, mid- and final / pre-shipment inspections directly at suppliers or in-house when required.
  • Book, brief and govern third-party (QIMA) inspections and align them to the production calendar.
  • Review inspection reports and approve, hold or reject shipments on quality grounds.

CAPA, scorecards & improvement:

  • Raise and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
  • Maintain vendor quality scorecards and trend analysis; escalate systemic issues.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and continuous quality improvement with suppliers and Production.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years in QC/QA in apparel or accessories, hands-on with inspections and with managing third-party agencies.
  • Able to perform inspections personally — AQL sampling, measurements, workmanship — and to author
  • QC manuals and protocols.
  • Strong CAPA and root-cause skills; data-driven and rigorous.
  • Willing to travel to suppliers as needed; a relevant QC/QA qualification is a plus.
