Role Overview
ONFTECH AL ARABIA is seeking a Saudi National QA Engineer to join our growing technology team in Riyadh.
The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of ONFTECH's financial and regulatory technology platforms delivered to Saudi banks and fintechs. This role involves executing end-to-end testing activities for integrations with critical financial system.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing for applications (Postman, SOAPUI), APIs, and integrations.
- Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with client banks and regulators.
- Identify, log, and track issues using Jira, ensuring traceability and timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps Engineers to resolve defects.
- Validate workflows and ensure data accuracy across backend and frontend components.
- Participate in release planning and deployment cycles; provide QA sign-off for go-live.
- Prepare and maintain detailed QA documentation and test evidence in Confluence.
- Ensure adherence to internal QA standards and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Support compliance with SAMA and local cybersecurity standards during testing cycles.
- Continuously stay updated with FinTech and RegTech trends and reflect these in requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be a Saudi National.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related IT discipline.
- 13 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Familiarity with banking, fintech, or government system integrations in KSA is an advantage.
- Practical experience in:
- Functional and regression testing
- API testing (Postman / SoapUI)
- SQL database validation
- Test and defect management (Jira, Confluence)
- Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, Katalon, or JMeter) is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and analytical mindset.
- Fluency in English
