About Your Team

This role sits within the QAQC Department and reports directly to the Project QAQC Manager. The team is responsible for maintaining quality standards across all phases of construction, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local authority requirements. It focuses on continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivering excellence across every stage of the build process.

Your Role

As a QAQC Coordinator, you will:

• Manage and coordinate a defined section of project works to ensure all QA/QC requirements are achieved.
• Oversee subcontractor submittals including shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Lead daily site inspections to identify, record, and resolve quality issues.
• Monitor planned versus actual QA/QC deliverables and ensure timely approvals.
• Ensure compliance with ALEC QA/QC procedures and project quality standards.
• Verify all construction activities meet international standards and local authority regulations.
• Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections using digital quality management tools.
• Coordinate closeout documentation including warranties, test reports, as-builts, and O&M manuals.
• Support project handover strategies and ensure quality milestones are met on schedule.
• Manage QA/QC data and workflows through project information management systems.
• Promote continuous improvement and support ALEC's digitalisation roadmap within QA/QC.
• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve quality challenges proactively.

This role is full time and follows a Monday to Saturday work week, typical for project-based positions in our industry.

What We're Looking For

Experience: 10+ years of experience in building construction, ideally within high-end luxury developments.

Knowledge:

• Strong expertise in architectural and interior design finishes.
• Solid understanding of international quality standards and local authority requirements.
• Proven experience managing inspections, closeout processes, and quality documentation.

Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge with excellent attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with digital QA/QC platforms such as BIM 360, Aconex, or PMWeb.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with a collaborative working style.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
