Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary

CITISCAPE, a leading landscape and infrastructure construction company, is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to oversee and ensure that all project works meet quality and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will manage the QA/QC team, implement quality systems, and liaise with clients and consultants to maintain project quality objectives across landscaping, irrigation, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, inspection procedures, and quality control documentation.
• Supervise QA/QC Inspectors and ensure all inspections and tests comply with project specifications.
• Review and approve materials, inspection reports, and test results.
• Conduct internal audits, identify non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients on quality-related matters and inspection approvals.
• Ensure calibration and testing of equipment and materials by approved labs.
• Monitor subcontractors quality performance and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of quality systems and participate in ISO audits.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in QA/QC engineering within landscaping, infrastructure, or civil construction projects (GCC experience preferred).
• Certifications:
• QA/QC or ISO 9001:2015 certification (mandatory or preferred).
• Internal Auditor training (advantageous).
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of construction quality standards and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC reporting software.
