Client is looking for QA/QC Lead
Project Type: Brownfield | EPC | PMC | Petrochemical Plant | Turnaround (TA) | Furnaces
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- 16+ years of experience in QA/QC within ethylene/petrochemical plants (EPC/PMC execution)
- Prior Saudi Arabia project experience is a MUST
- Proven expertise in brownfield quality management, furnace installation, and equipment modifications
- Familiarity with DCS/ESD/SIS interfaces and turnaround (TA) quality controls
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities:
- Be the ambassador to ensure all staff from partner organizations follow safety procedures
- Establishes the Project Quality Management System in accordance with the tenets and guidelines of ISO 9000 Standard.
- Develops the process for the establishment, review and approval of project specifications/procedures by the Project Team Managers and Specialists
- Leads the internal Audits for all the processes and procedures of the development phase activities
- Ensures that the EC Contractors Program for QA and QC has been fully developed and is being implemented by regular auditing.
- Ensures that all matters relating to quality requirements and processes are strictly adhered to in accordance with the Contract, Specifications, National and International Codes and Standards, Regulations, etc.
- Establishes the Engineering and Procurement Documentation Turnover requirements
- Establishes relationship and liaise with Partner QA Organizations to ensure common goals and objectives
- Schedules and executes Internal Audits of Project Procedures and Contractor's facilities.
- Where Non Conformity/Corrective Actions have not been resolved, ensures that these NCRs / CARs shall be brought to the attention of the Project Manager.
- Alerts Project Management about potential problems, undesirable trends and foreseen risks.
- Directs and Manages the activities of the QA and QC Specialists/Inspectors for the project.
- Ensures that EC Contractor Site QA Management System is in place and is being implemented
- Revises and establishes as appropriate Project's Construction procedures
- Directs and manages the Project's Construction QA and QC Activities
- Establishes the Project's Construction activities Audit program
- Establishes the Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up Documentation turnover requirements
- Audits the EC Contractor and Sub-Contractors (as applicable) QA programs and procedures
- Instigates and Coordinates Third Party Inspection and Consultants visits as appropriate
- Follows up on the resolution of NCR's and Corrective Actions
- Supports Construction and Operation in the Punch-list close out reports
- Audits Vendor's Data Packages
- Participates in the Project's Close-out report
- Participates in the Lesson learned gathering sessions
