Job Purpose
The QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control procedures at project sites. The role ensures that all construction, landscaping, irrigation, and civil works comply with project specifications, drawings, and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct material inspections and ensure all materials are approved and meet project requirements before installation.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and documentation for all QA/QC activities.
- Coordinate with the site engineer and construction team to rectify any non-conformities identified during inspections.
- Ensure testing and calibration of equipment and materials are conducted by approved laboratories.
- Assist in developing and implementing project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
- Conduct inspections for landscaping works, hardscape, irrigation, civil, and structural components.
- Verify that corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Maintain continuous communication with the QA/QC Engineer, Project Manager, and Consultants on quality matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector in landscape, infrastructure, or civil construction projects (preferably in Saudi Arabia or GCC).
- QA/QC certification (preferred)
- ISO 9001:2015 awareness or internal auditor training (advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiar with inspection reporting tools.
