Position: QA/QC Inspector – Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecom
We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in Electrical and Lighting Systems, Telecom Systems, and related inspection activities within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Industrial projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC inspection of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom systems.
- Hands-on experience in Electrical and Lighting System inspections, testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Experience in Telecom systems such as CCTV, PAGA, and associated communication systems.
- ADNOC project experience will be an added advantage.
Technical Requirements
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in:
- ISO Standards
- IEC Codes and Standards
- ADNOC Codes and Standards
- Relevant project specifications and quality requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections for Electrical, Lighting, Instrumentation, and Telecom works to ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, approved procedures, and industry best practices.
- Perform inspections related to Electrical Lighting Systems and Cathodic Protection Systems.
- Verify calibration, installation, and functionality of field instruments and associated equipment.
- Inspect tubing installations, impulse lines, and perform leak testing activities.
- Conduct inspections of Fire & Gas Detection Systems, PAGA Systems, CCTV Systems, and Telecom installations.
- Witness testing, commissioning, and performance verification activities.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Electrical, Lighting, and Telecom systems.
- Excellent understanding of QA/QC inspection methodologies.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, datasheets, specifications, and standards.
- Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
