Description

At Rime, we are on a massive mission to empower businesses and optimize our clients operational processes by transforming real-time video streams and sensor data into actionable insights. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be the bridge between our software development, AI, and operations teams. Your primary goal is to accelerate our delivery cycles by building robust, automated CI/CD pipelines, optimizing our development environments, and ensuring that our code and heavy AI models transition smoothly from development to production. You will play a crucial role in eliminating bottlenecks, automating repetitive tasks, and empowering our engineering teams to build and ship faster without compromising on quality or security.

Requirements

1. QA Methodologies: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with the ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

2. API Testing: Hands-on experience testing backend services and APIs using tools like Postman or similar.

3. Automation Testing (Bonus): Experience or familiarity with UI automation testing frameworks (such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium) is a strong advantage.

4. Agile & Bug Tracking: Proficiency working within an Agile/Scrum development process and utilizing issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

5. Technical Aptitude: A solid understanding of web applications, client-server architecture, and the ability to quickly grasp complex real-time data flows.

Roles And Responsibilities

1. Test Case Design: Create and document clear, comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and test cases based on product requirements and customer needs.

2. Functional & UI/UX Testing: Execute manual and automated tests for web applications and interactive dashboards to ensure they are bug-free and deliver a seamless user experience.

3. AI Output Validation: Review and verify the accuracy of AI-driven alerts (e.g., queue detection, cleanliness, uniform compliance) to ensure logical consistency and minimize false positives before they reach the client.

4. API & Integration Testing: Test backend services and APIs to ensure accurate, real-time data flow from cameras and sensors.

5. Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, record, and clearly document software bugs using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), tracking them alongside the development team until full resolution.

6. Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing after each update or new feature release to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
