Job Description
Coordinate and facilitate Disaster Recovery failover and failback activities across application, infrastructure, database, network, and security teams.
Ensure DR activities are executed in line with approved DR runbooks, schedules, procedures, and escalation paths.
Track the progress of assigned systems during DR testing and escalate issues, risks, or delays to the IT Operations team.
Support communication and alignment between technical teams throughout DR exercises.
Document execution status, incidents, risks, issues, decisions, and lessons learned during DR testing.
Follow up on action items identified during DR exercises and track them through closure.
Prepare DR test reports and maintain accurate DR-related documentation.
Support periodic DR readiness reviews, documentation updates, and business continuity initiatives as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of DR procedures based on test outcomes and lessons learned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
2–4 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, disaster recovery coordination, business continuity, or a related IT function is preferred.
Good understanding of Disaster Recovery concepts, failover/failback processes, and IT infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, databases, virtualization, storage, and networking concepts.
Strong coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and follow-up skills.
Ability to escalate issues appropriately and maintain clear status updates during DR exercises.
Familiarity with ITSM tools, DR runbooks, business continuity practices, and technical reporting.
