Quality Control Engineer

Role Description

Quality is at the core of what we do. As a Main Contractor in heavy mechanical construction, we are looking for a dedicated QC Engineer to ensure our fabrication, welding, and erection activities meet strict international standards.

What You Will Do:

Inspection & Testing: Conduct and supervise Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and visual inspections for welding, piping, tanks, or structural steel.

Code Compliance: Ensure site execution aligns with general requirements of international codes (ASME, API, AWS, ...).

Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality records, inspection test plans (ITPs), and final handover dossiers.

Defect Resolution: Identify non-conformities and oversee necessary repairs and re-testing.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.

Experience: 5 to 7 years of QA/QC experience in mechanical construction.

MANDATORY: Must have strong expertise and certification/knowledge in the 5 main NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT).

Bonus Skills: Holding a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification is considered an advanced advantage.

Knowledge: Solid general understanding of major international codes (ASME, API, AWS).

Mobility: Must be willing to travel or relocate based on project locations.
