Quality Control Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Review electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to verify conformance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
• Conduct on-site inspections of electrical installations and equipment to assess workmanship, materials, and safety
• Coordinate with testing laboratories to oversee quality control testing of electrical systems, including functionality and safety testing
• Identify quality issues and collaborate with the project team to develop and implement corrective actions
• Maintain detailed quality control records, reports, and documentation
• Provide technical guidance and training to field electricians on quality control best practices
• Work closely with project managers to ensure electrical quality objectives are achieved within schedule and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other relevant electrical standards
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
