Quality Control Engineer

Key Accountabilities

• Comply with HSE requirements and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all company and regulatory standards are achieved at all times.
• Adherence to implementing 5S & Lean projects and instructions.
• Develop & execute quality control plans, type test plans, and inspection test plans as per the master delivery plan with customers.
• Update internal quality standards as per recent operations updates.
• Send technical documents to the testing lab to start the testing process, including drawings, technical datasheets, and shipment details.
• Responsible for non-conformities within the company and follow up on related corrective action implementation.
• Execute quality inputs for order cycle/contract review cycle.
• Coordinate with the warehouse department to allocate the final product in the specified quality area to ensure it is not being transferred or shipped to any clients at this stage.
• Receive and analyse the finished product, then pass it to the warehouse after testing.
• Ensure quality discipline 24/7 in three shifts.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures / Work Instructions set by the Company Management & convey to direct reports.
• Follow up on test results to obtain the required certificate.
• Schedule jobs with maximum manpower utilisation & resources to achieve targets in coordination with relevant teams.
• Provide training for quality supervisors and technicians to improve their performance and competencies in providing quality services.
• Issue daily, weekly, and monthly reports to be approved by the direct manager.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• From 2 to 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of Access database, Excel, and other software applications
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and systems thinking skills
• Effective communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation areas
• QHSE management system (quality; environment; health and safety management system),
• Product & material testing evaluation of a finished product for quality and reliability.
• Data Analysis and Quality Control Tools (QMS, SPC)
