Job Summary:
The QC/QA Engineer is responsible for implementing quality processes & procedures in the shop floor to improve the quality of product/process by following Isuzu Manufacturing Management (IMM) principles.
Education Requirements:
BS/MS in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Production/ Automobile/ Industrial engineering or equivalent
Work Experience Requirements:
3-5 Year
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Exposure to 2D/ 3D drawing software
- Experienced in MS Office packages
- Basic Knowledge in Six Sigma, lean manufacturing and Kaizen principles
- Basic knowledge in Quality Management System (QMS)
- Excellent communication skills
- Active listener
- Good report generation skills
- Good team working and collaborative skills
- Knowledge of the structure and mechanics of automobiles is required.
Roles, responsibilities, and authorities:
- Develops and maintains quality standards, procedure & process
- Plans and implements and quality guidelines/ manuals in accordance with IMM
- Plans and implements process/ procedures for ensuring quality of the knock down and local parts
- Conducts Root cause analysis for the defects
- Performs KAIZEN activities in the quality operation
- Assists in pilot model production QC auditing
- Coordinates with supplier for quality assurance of the local parts
- Conducts regular quality assurance/ audit meeting
- Provides IMM training
