Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Analyze quality control test results and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including inspection reports, quality records, and compliance certifications.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives for non-conformance incidents.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of understanding Engineering drawings
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and testing procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Experience in leading or participating in quality audits is a plus.
