Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  • Assist in the operation of the Quality Control (QC) on site by preparing and implementing Quality Controls Plans and Procedures according to Company QC procedures, International standards and specific contract requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in conducting inspections of mechanical installations, including piping, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment, in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
  • Support inspection and testing activities and assist in reviewing inspection and test results for compliance with quality requirements.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances (NCRs) and assist in monitoring corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements and provide technical support to the team leader and inspectors.
  • Prepare inspection reports, test records, and other quality documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update quality records in accordance with project and company procedures.
  • Participate in hold-point, witness, and client/consultant inspections and assist in addressing related comments and observations.
  • Coordinate with site teams to verify implementation of approved corrective actions and quality requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities and participating in lessons-learned activities.
  • Support compliance with ISO 9001, Project Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and internal/external quality audits.

SAFETY AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the safety standards and comply with Company's Health, Safety and Environment Management System Requirements.
  • Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
  • Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.

SOCIAL COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain company's social management system policy via follow and report any deviated cases against PSP IMS policy.
  • Take his own responsibility to comply with the social accountability requirements according to the standard SA8000.
  • Co-operate with the SP team for any further communication in order to improve and enhance the level of implementation and compliance with the company's social management system.

REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATION

Basic Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or any relevant discipline.
  • Related Field Experience: 0-2 years of experience in related field.
  • Overall Experience: 0-2 years of experience.
