Quality Control Engineer - North Coast

Responsibilities

• Review civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to verify compliance with standards and requirements
• Conduct regular on-site inspections of construction activities to observe and document workmanship and materials
• Coordinate with testing laboratories to oversee quality control testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials
• Identify quality control issues and work with the project team to develop and implement corrective actions
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality control activities and findings
• Provide technical guidance and training to field crews on quality control best practices
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure quality objectives are met within schedule and budget constraints

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and industry regulations
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
