Job Title: QC Lab Technician – Paper Industry
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience: 1–2 Years
Salary: AED 4,000 + Accommodation + Transportation
Industry: Paper Manufacturing / Pulp & Paper
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct standard paper testing methods with high accuracy in recording and maintaining lab data
- Sample paper from the parent roll at the paper machine for quality inspection
- Check for physical defects on parent roll paper and report deviations promptly to the process owner
- Test samples per work instructions and compare results against standard specifications
- Communicate deviations to process owner/QC supervisor for corrective action
- Maintain test results in MES system and Autoline 400
- Take quality decisions based on acceptance criteria
- Perform internal calibration of lab equipment
- Prepare and test marketing samples per work instructions
- Maintain lab asset management and 5S standards
- Drive quality activities per IPM guidelines
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, including chemical handling and lab safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- 1–2 years relevant experience as QC Lab Technician in the paper/pulp industry
- Strong knowledge of paper testing methods, lab safety, and chemical handling
- Male candidates only, currently based in UAE
- Immediate to 30-day notice period preferred
