We are looking for QC AND QA Engineer for oil &Gas company to join our team.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Supervise and monitor fabrication and inspection activities to ensure full compliance with client requirements, engineering drawings, and relevant standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
- Conduct inspections at all project stages (receiving, in-process, final, and pre-shipment) and ensure accurate documentation of all quality and welding records, including WPS, PQR, WQT, inspection reports, and test certificates.
- Specialize in API 6A, API 6D, API 16A, API 7-1, and API 5CT products, ensuring welding and quality activities meet these product specifications and associated QMS controls.
- Support the QA/QC department in the execution of internal and external audits, management of nonconformities, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and third-party inspectors to ensure timely resolution of quality issues, effective communication of technical requirements, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Assist in client approval processes for procedures, manufacturing plans, and quality documentation packages.
- Promote a strong quality culture through proactive involvement in training, awareness, and compliance initiatives aligned with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and API Q1 requirements.
- Ensure traceability and integrity of inspection and test records throughout the product lifecycle, from raw materials to final delivery.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality or welding nonconformities.
Qualification, work experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or related field
