About the RoleWe're hiring a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist (E-commerce) to ensure the accuracy and quality of our online store operations. This role focuses on product listing QC (data, pricing, images, variants, categories) and order & shipping QC (order accuracy, packing checks, shipping details), to maintain a flawless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities1) Product Listing Quality Control- Review and approve product listings before publishing (titles, descriptions, specs, attributes, variants).
- Ensure correct categorization, tags, filters, and attribute mapping.
- Audit pricing accuracy (regular price, sale price, discounts) and detect inconsistencies.
- Validate SKU structure, product codes, and variant relationships (size/color/etc.).
- Verify product images (quality, correct product match, consistent angles/background if required).
- Check product pages for completeness (dimensions, materials, warranty info, shipping notes, FAQs if applicable).
- Maintain consistency in Arabic/English content (spelling, tone, clarity) when needed.
2) Order, Fulfillment & Shipping Quality Control- Audit order details before fulfillment (items, quantities, variants, customer notes).
- Verify picking & packing accuracy (right SKU/variant, correct count, safe packaging standards).
- Check invoice / packing slip correctness and alignment with order details.
- Validate shipping label information (customer name, phone, address, COD amount if applicable).
- Coordinate with warehouse and customer support to resolve mismatches quickly.
- Track recurring fulfillment errors and propose process improvements.
3) Reporting & Continuous Improvement- Maintain QC checklists and daily/weekly QC reports.
- Identify root causes of repeated errors and recommend preventive actions.
- Work closely with E-commerce, Warehouse, and Customer Support teams to close QC loops.
Quality Standards (Examples)- Zero tolerance for: wrong price, wrong SKU/variant, wrong shipped item.
- Product pages must be: complete, accurate, and consistent across the catalog.
- Orders must leave the warehouse with verified: item match + packaging + shipping details.
Requirements- 3+ year experience in E-commerce operations, catalog management, fulfillment, or QC (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with repetitive tasks accurately.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and writing clear reports.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce is a plus).
Nice to Have- Experience with inventory/ERP tools (e.g., Odoo).
- Understanding of product data structure (attributes/variants).
- Basic knowledge of SEO for product titles and descriptions.
